The main East entrance to Angkor Thom, the Victory Gate shares similar motifs as Tonle Om although it is not in anywhere near as good condition. It is the only one of the five entrances to Angkor Thom that is not leading directly to the Bayon temple. Instead, this gate leads directly to the earlier royal palace compound around Phimeanakas and the Terrace of the Elephants.
