Pura Taman Saraswati water palace temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Sarasvati. A contemporary Balinese temple, it was constructed in the 1950s and is a bit of a Ubud tourist mainstay. The entrance area is designed like a lotus pond with a stone bridge leading into the temple proper. Inside the grounds you’ll find many statues of Balinese Hindu gods including Saraswati (goddess of knowledge, wisdom, art, learning, and music) and demon Jero Gede Mecaling, and a padmasana shrine.
Traditional dancing is often hosted on the site in the evenings.
