Although a much less pronounced series of terraces compared to Tegallalang rice terrace, Jatiluwih has a considerable spread over a valley area (over 600 hectares). Located at approximately 700m altitude near the Jatiluwih village, the area is yet another glimpse into life in the regional foothills of Bali. Farmers will be tending to the rice paddy fields using techniques passed down for generations.

This is a nice addition to a trip to Pura Luhur Batukaru.
